Vagrant records

VAGRANTS

Most of the work of SBRC concerns the validation of reports of vagrant species in Seychelles. If you see any vagrant species in Seychelles, please forward a record form to SBRC. Vagrant species are those highlighted in blue on the SEYCHELLES LIST.

Please download the record form from the link below, enter all details and email to the address shown on the form, together with photos if available. 


Record form

Please remember to state clearly the key features used to identify the bird. The objective of SBRC is to create a permanent archive of information so that in years and decades to come, other ornithologists are able to examine the same information and reach the same conclusions regarding identity.
